Korea in early November 2026: the two weekends worth travelling for
EXO and the KGMA on one weekend, the Melon Music Awards and TXT on the next, fireworks in Busan and a festival on the airport island between them. The confirmed dates to plan around, soonest first.
November is when this calendar stops looking like a list and starts looking like a clash diary. Thirty one events on Korea What's On touch November 2026, fourteen of them with confirmed dates, across Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Goyang and Gwangju. Almost all of the confirmed weight falls on two weekends, Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November and Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November, and if you are travelling for one show in that fortnight, it is worth knowing what else is on while the hotels fill up. Everything below is a confirmed date in our calendar, checked on 27 October 2026; the month's tentative listings sit in the November roundup and on the November page, badged as tentative there.
First, this weekend: the duo at the airport island
The fortnight opens before November quite starts. SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan and Joshua open their first duo tour, Journey Into [Dreaming], at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, announced by Pledis Entertainment on 28 September 2026 ahead of the duo's first EP, Dreamscape. Ticketing runs through NOL, with mobile tickets and on site identity checks. If you are flying in for it, the venue sits on the same island as the airport, which is the easiest arrival on this whole calendar; our INSPIRE Arena guide covers the trip in full.
The weekend of 6 to 8 November: pick your city
Three cities run at full tilt at once. In Seoul, EXO play KSPO Dome at Olympic Park for three nights, Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, the sixth EXO PLANET tour, from 165,000 won through Melon Ticket. Across the city at Gocheok Sky Dome, the Korea Grand Music Awards fill the same Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 November, split into Artist Day and Music Day with twenty acts a day, among them TREASURE, ATEEZ, RIIZE, ITZY, TWS and WayV, with domestic tickets sold exclusively through NOL and a second round of floor seats added on 27 October. You cannot do both award nights and both dome runs, so choose by act, not by venue.
In Incheon, the airport corporation's own SKY FESTIVAL runs at INSPIRE Arena on 7 and 8 November, with side events from 13:00 and the main concert at 18:00 to 20:00 each night. Saturday, billed Hyped up_, brings EPIK HIGH, BIBI, KickFlip, TNX and H//PE Princess; Sunday, Chill out_, brings PSY, Zion.T, Kim Na Young, Forestella, xikers, hrtz.wav and OURBIRTHDAY. And in Busan, Saturday 7 November is the Busan Fireworks Festival at Gwangalli Beach, 19:00 to 20:00 over the bay, with official viewing areas at Gwangalli, Igidae and Dongbaekseom. The beach is free to watch from; paid seats on the sand are 70,000 won for an S seat and 100,000 won for an R seat with a table, sold through NOL Ticket, and paid seat sales close at 17:00 on Friday 6 November. Seoul to Busan is about two and a half hours by KTX, so the fireworks can be a Saturday night inside a Seoul based trip if you book the train with the ticket, not after it.
The weekend of 13 to 15 November: the awards peak
The second weekend is the one the whole season leans toward. The Melon Music Awards run at Gocheok Sky Dome on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November at 18:00 each day, the first two day edition in the awards' eighteen year history, presented by Kakao Entertainment with KakaoBank as title sponsor. The final lineup, announced on 14 October, names twenty six acts: Global Day on the Saturday brings I.O.I, reuniting after nine years, with aespa, NCT DREAM, ATEEZ, RIIZE and TWS among its fourteen acts, and Music Day on the Sunday brings IVE, NCT 127, NCT WISH, ILLIT and CORTIS among its twelve. Same dome as the KGMA a week earlier, so a two weekend trip can do both award shows from one hotel base in western Seoul.
The same weekend, Tomorrow X Together open their fifth world tour, Steal the Wind, at KSPO Dome on 13, 14 and 15 November, announced by BIGHIT MUSIC, with Seoul ticketing through NOL World. In Incheon, JYP's rock band Xdinary Heroes play INSPIRE Arena on the same three nights, Friday at 19:00, Saturday at 17:00 and Sunday at 16:00, with all reserved seats at 154,000 won, sold exclusively through NOL Ticket with global booking for overseas fans. Three venues, three crowds, one weekend: book the room the day you book the ticket.
How to choose
If you can only make one weekend, the first is the wider trip: fireworks in Busan, a festival at the airport island and two Seoul dome runs give you three cities in three days. The second is the deeper one for award show fans, with the Melon Music Awards as the anchor and two arena runs either side of the river. Either way, November in Korea is announced late and booked fast, which is the rhythm our concert calendar explainer describes. Start from the confirmed dates above, keep tentative listings in the planning column where their badges put them, and let the events calendar settle any tie.
