About this event
The World Taekwondo Council has allocated a 2027 Grand Prix Challenge to Muju, North Jeolla, where Taekwondowon, the global home of taekwondo, hosted the 2017 World Championships and regularly stages Grand Prix-level events. The Grand Prix Challenge is the qualifying tier below the Grand Prix series, where ranked fighters earn their way toward the LA 2028 Olympic cycle events. The mid-August 2027 dates shown follow the international calendar listing for the Muju event; World Taekwondo had not yet published the final confirmed dates when this record was written, so treat the exact days as tentative.
