Things to do in Jeju.

An island that runs on day tours: the UNESCO east coast in one circuit, the south-west's cliffs, falls and tea fields in another, both with the driving and the entrance fees handled.

Seongsan Ilchulbong

The tuff cone that rises straight out of the sea at Jeju's east end, the centrepiece of the island's UNESCO World Heritage listing: a vast grass crater above the water, the haenyeo women divers performing on the coast below, and the Manjanggul lava tube and Seongeup Folk Village on the same east circuit.

How to book: The peak charges a small entry fee and the climb takes about half an hour; the east side is an hour's drive from Jeju City, so most visitors tour it. The button below books the east course day tour, with the folk village, the lava tube and the haenyeo show, entrances and lunch included.

Jusangjeolli Cliff and the South-West

Where Hallasan's lava met the sea and froze into hexagonal stone pillars: the Daepo Jusangjeolli cliffs on the south coast. The south-west circuit strings them together with the Hallasan highland wetland, Cheonjeyeon Falls, the O'sulloc tea fields and the Songaksan coastal walk.

How to book: The stops are spread along the south coast road, and no bus day covers them all. The button below books the south-west day tour from Jeju City, entrance fees included.
