About this event

The Lotus Lantern Festival (Yeondeunghoe), a UNESCO-listed tradition ahead of Buddha's Birthday, holds its 2027 lantern parade along Jongno from Heunginjimun to Jogyesa Temple on Saturday 8 May 2027 from 19:00 to 21:30, with a street festival in front of Jogyesa on 9 May from 11:00 to 19:00. The festival is free. Basis: the 2027 dates and programme times published in Seoul festival guides drawing on the organiser (the Yeondeunghoe Preservation Committee); the organiser's own page was not opened in this pass, so the record grades expected.
